Closing One Chapter & Opening Another….

Change can be exciting, emotional, a little scary — sometimes all at once!!

After 15 years of running my own photography business, I've made the decision to close that chapter of my life & step into something new.! It's a decision that comes with so many memories, lessons & gratitude for the journey I've been on!!

Photography has been such an important part of my life! Over the years, I've had the privilege of working with wonderful clients, capturing the beginning of a new family, a little human’s new life, the laughter of a tickle & the love of the family unit!! An added bonus of building a business from the ground up…I've learned so much along the way, not just about photography, but about what it really takes to run a successful business!!

And if there's one thing I've learned, it's that running a photography business involves so much more than taking beautiful photographs!

There's the emails, inquiries, client communication, bookings, workflows, CRM systems, organization & all those behind-the-scenes details that keep everything moving…in the grand scheme of things, the actual photography is only one small piece of the puzzle!

Those 15 years have taught me just how important it is to have organized systems, a smooth client experience & the right support in place….that's where my next chapter begins!

Introducing The Studio Concierge

I'm so excited to introduce The Studio Concierge, my new business dedicated to supporting Canadian photographers with the behind-the-scenes side of running their businesses!

While I'm closing my own photography business, I'm not leaving the photography industry behind completely….instead, I'm taking everything I've learned over the past 15 years & using that experience to help other photographers!

Through The Studio Concierge, I'll be offering administrative support, CRM setup/management, workflow organization, client experience support & ongoing business assistance. My goal is to help photographers spend less time feeling overwhelmed by their to-do lists & more time doing the work they love!

Whether you're a new photographer trying to get your systems in place or an established photographer who needs an extra set of hands, I want to help make the business side of photography feel a little easier!

Because I understand firsthand how much goes into running a photography business & I know how valuable it can be to have someone in your corner who truly gets it!

Why This Next Chapter Feels Right

Sometimes, the skills & experience we gain in one season of life lead us somewhere we never expected….for me, those 15 years have given me a deep understanding of client care, business organization, communication & the systems that help a photography business run smoothly. I've realized that these are skills I can continue to use & share, even as my own photography business comes to a close.

I'm excited to help other photographers build stronger foundations, create better workflows & deliver an amazing experience to their clients — without feeling like they have to do absolutely everything themselves!! No really, you don’t HAVE to do it all yourself!!

Is it a big change? Absolutely!

Am I excited about what's ahead? You bet!

Closing this chapter doesn't erase the memories or the experiences….it simply means I'm making room for something new.
